A nation—and world—in which the vast majority of physicians and healthcare professionals have experienced the dietary paradigm shift, enthusiastically embracing the health-protecting power of plant-based nutrition; in turn, effectively promoting patient and client adoption of a predominantly whole food, plant-based (WFPB) lifestyle.
The result: Sustainability of human health and the healthcare system, while producing meaningful progress toward the big picture of global sustainability.
The Plantrician Project Mission
To educate, equip and empower our physicians and healthcare practitioners with knowledge about the indisputable benefits of plant-based nutrition. To provide them with the resources they, in turn, use to inform and inspire their patients to shift from the Western industrialized diet to a life-changing, whole-food, plant-based way of living.
Starting with the CME accredited International Plant-Based Nutrition Healthcare Conference, The Plantrician Project is developing a wide array of educational events, tools and resources designed to effectively educate, equip and empower the gatekeepers of dietary-related recommendations—our nation’s physicians and healthcare professionals—about the health-promoting, disease fighting power of whole food, plant-based nutrition.
Additionally, plans are underway for the development of print and technology-based educational, implementation and behavior change tools and resources that are patient-specific and can be easily and cost-effectively integrated into the emerging healthcare model that’s both value and outcome-based.
