What is a Plantrician Student Ambassadors (PSA) Group?
PSA groups are student-led organizations designed to promote plant-based nutrition education and advocacy at academic institutions. These groups meet the increasing demand for plant-based nutrition education by providing a platform and community for students to engage in activities that highlight the transformative impact of plant-based diets on both human and planetary health. PSA Groups uses resources from Plantrician University to host community events, educational activities, and networking opportunities centered around evidence-based plant-based nutrition.
By educating healthcare professionals in training on the root cause of chronic lifestyle-related disease, we empower the next generation with the critical knowledge they need to treat their patients and help them prevent and reverse disease. We believe that this next generation of healthcare providers has the potential to usher in a new era of healthcare founded on the principles of value-based care, plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine.
